Listening Assessment Preparation Course

This five-unit course was designed for English as an Additional Language (EAL) students who are preparing for the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS) Life and Work Listening Assessment. This course was almost completely audio-based and replicated the experience learners will have on the exam. The course covers listening comprehension strategies and offers a variety of sample dialogues.

My role was to align curriculum from Voxy’s pre-existing catalogue, record audio instructions, as well as source new Creative Commons (CC) content, and organize partner conversations between Voxy’s content publishers.

As Voxy uses their own internal proprietary software, I have only included screenshots of the main homepage of the course as well as individual lessons and activities.
