Fake Headlines and Internet Rumours Textbook Unit

This is a textbook unit originally created for my Master’s in Education in Curriculum Studies (TESL). I have used this many times over the years, including at the Language Center at St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

This is an interactive unit, as students can read the news articles in the unit by scanning the QR codes with their phones. Below is the accompanying lesson plan.
