Digital Literacy for Pre-Literate, Non-Literate, and Low-Literacy Adult EAL Students
This five-unit course was designed for English as an Additional Language (EAL) students who struggled with Voxy’s Digital Literacy Course. My role was to work with our partner EnGen to assess student needs as well as write the overarching curriculum.
Throughout the completion of this course, I sourced authentic content to be turned into lessons on our platform, recorded video tutorials, addressed the concerns of content publishers working on the project, as well as edited publisher video recordings to fit the structure of Voxy’s E-Learning platform.
To support literacy learners with the use of realia, I created a MOGRT from Adobe After Effects and imported it to Adobe Premiere in order to simulate the phone and computer screens throughout the course.
As Voxy uses their own internal proprietary software, I have only included screenshots of the main homepage of the course as well as individual lessons and activities.
